Dreamcatcher
Dreamcatcher stands at about 5'7" and weighs roughly 133 lbs. Her lips are painted a lovely shade of red that just seems to go so well with her bright blue eyes and shoulder length, copper colored hair. She wears a lovely spandex leotard style outfit that covers her entire upper body and ends in a bikini bottom. Around her shoulders, it is colored a dark blue, completely her neck and leading up into a mask.
The suit slides down her arms and ends in a pair of thick gauntlets. The rest of the leotard is colored white. On her feet and legs she wears a pair of thigh high boots in that same dark blue with gold trim around the tops.
Dreamcatcher is a mentally powered heroine with a strong basis in empathetic and telekinetic powers. Her empathetic powers are such that she can sense the emotions of those around her. This allows her to locate someone in distress easily, tell if someone is bluffing, or tell if they are nervous. Of course, it also lets her know just how many people are staring at her.
The downside to this power is that if she becomes distracted enough, she might lose control and then actually begin to feel the strongest emotion around her. Usually this is the emotion that someone is feeling the most, or perhaps is just closest to her.
Dreamcatcher's telekinetic powers are fairly standard. She can lift heavy objects with her mind, usually accompanied by the wave of a hand or an arm. The sort of gesture that helps her to focus her powers. She can do the same things without motions, but it requires her to concentrate more. She has the ability to fly thanks to her telekinetic powers, as well as the ability to create a forcefield of sorts, a wall of mental energy that can stop most anything. Such a shield requires a lot of effort, and can only be accomplished so many times before she becomes exhausted.
Dreamcatcher's weakness revolves around the fact that she does indeed lose control of her empathy at times. This can cause her to act in a method other than she normally would. Certain substances can cause her powers to be increased, or suppressed. If her powers are increased, she does generally lose control of her empathy, but increasing her powers to beat her is ill advised for some rather obvious reasons.
As it happens, the substance that increases her powers and inhibits them is of the sort that it switches states whenever an electric current is applied to it.
